New York Public Library.
Manhattan. New York. 2008.
Some of you might remember this building from the blockbuster film "The Day After Tomorrow" as the safe haven for our main characters to find shelter in. Being new to the city I went to the library in search of books to learn shortly after that this is not the public library that carries books. However, it is a beautiful building nonetheless and was glad I got to go inside.
This was the only shot I took inside and it just hit me as I was walking. I saw the man and the window and said "beautiful" to myself and snapped a few photos of the man.
I hope you enjoy. For some reason I was a little hesitant to put this photo up, but decided in the end that it should go on DA.
When is enough enough... What difference does it make when popular artist vent vent vent and support a site that tolerates deviant behaviour. HA! no wonder its all in a name.
Your Darkest Dreams is a monthly feature devoted to sharing dark photography works from DeviantArt. Often misunderstood as "morbid" or "depressing", Your Darkest Dreams seeks to show this kind of photography in a new way: by showcasing art that is thought provoking, but at the same time unabashedly displays the beauty in darkness.
